National Youth Science Forum promotion
NYSF is a non-profit organisation that runs several residential programs to encourage young people in their passion for science. It is Australia’s longest running and most well-known science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) outreach program.

2020 has presented NYSF with a huge number of challenges, starting with the bushfires at the beginning of the year, to the impact of the Covid19 virus.

However, planning is well underway for the camps in January 2021, and it is planned to run the following camps:

Session A – Mon 4 – Wed 13 January 2021 – The Australian National University, Canberra
Session B – Mon 11 – Wed 20 January 2021 – The University of Queensland, Brisbane
Session C – Mon 18 – Wed 27 January 2021 – The Australian National University, Canberra
Applications are now open.  The closing date has been extended to 20th July 2020.  Please let your schools know.

Students may seek endorsement and support from their local Rotary clubs, in which case an Endorsement form must be signed by the club. There must be a clear understanding of the level of support that the club is able to make to the student.

Students must apply through the NYSF website  https://www.nysf.edu.au/what-we-do/how-to-apply/
There will be a District Selection process at a date to be advised.
