Indigenous Health Scholarships
Indigenous children under the age of five are three times more likely to die than other children in Australia. By supporting Indigenous Australians to obtain qualifications in health and medicine it assists to improve health outcomes in indigenous communities.
Indigenous students may encounter family and financial pressures that may inhibit studying and the scholarships offer assistance with day-to-day expenses easing those pressures to allow greater focus on studies.
Indigenous Health Scholarships support Indigenous students to undertake tertiary training in nursing, physiotherapy, psychology, dentistry and other allied health related degrees at university.
These scholarships help Indigenous students to further their tertiary study and qualifications.
Indigenous Health Scholarships offer partnerships at a club, district, state and federal government level to sponsor individual scholarships for Indigenous Australians to utilise their education to benefit their communities.
